Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and swimming pool.
The award of the Contract will be to one Successful Bidder for completion of Work at both locations. Bennetto Community Centre: The scope of work for the Bennetto Community Centre includes, but is not limited to: - Remove existing roofs down to deck. Install new vapour barrier and air barriers. - Supply and install new base insulation and tapered insulation. Install new two ply modified built up roofing. - Project area is ten roofs for approximately 27,600 sq. ft. in roof area. - Allow for mechanical and electrical disconnect and reconnection. - Allow for disconnect and reconnection of duct work. - Reinsulate duct work at various locations. - Raise gas lines at various locations. - Provide protection for public. Dundas Community Pool: The scope of work for the Dundas Community Pool includes, but is not limited to: - Remove existing roofs down to the deck. - Install new vapour barrier and air barriers. - Supply and install new base insulation and tapered insulation. - Install new two ply modified built up roofing. - Allow for mechanical and electrical disconnect and reconnection. - Supply and install new scupper drains with down pipes. - Allow for minor masonry repairs. - Project area is five flat roofs for approximately 12,000 sq. ft. - Replace two shingle roofs for approximately 2,000 sq. ft.
