Set-Aside: This requiremnt is set aside for small businesses 2.NAICS: 332618 3. PSC: Y1PZ 4. Project Magnitude: Betw een $25,000 and $100,000. 5. Submit Proposals no later than: 13 May 22 6. An organzied site visit is scheduled f or 4 May 22 see attached docs for information NOTICE OF PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE 2.1. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on 4 May 2022 at 10:00am CST for the purposes of briefing on the proposal requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. This conference will be held at 901 Judge Leon Ford Dr, Hammond, LA, 70401. Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend the preproposal conference. The site visit will be held following the conference Work to be accomplished consists of furnishing all parts, labor, equipment, appliances, materials, licenses or permits required and performing all operations in connection with Gate Installation on the North and South Entry Gates at the Louisiana Air National Guard, 236th Combat Communications Squadron in accordance with this SOW and all attached designs or drawings 1. OBJECTIVES: 1.1 Existing Site Conditions: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and other incidental work required to complete the Entry Gate Installations. Other incidental work required includes any and all items necessary to ensure a complete, usable and maintainable final product including the demolition work not specifically stated elsewhere in this Statement of Work. The General Specifications and 236th Combat Communications Squadron Design Standards apply to this Statement of Work (SOW). The work shall be in strict compliance with those specifications and the requirements identified in this SOW and its attachments. Sections of this SOW may supersede the requirements of the specifications, in which case the more stringent/higher quality requirements shall apply. 1.2 Project Narrative 1.2.1 Facility Entry Gates 1.2.1.1 The 236th CBCS Commander has determined it is in the best interest of the Louisiana Air National Guard to install two power operated entry gates allowing secure access to the facility. In order for efficient and secure move in and out of facility. o Contractor will remove two (2) existing gates and old hardware associated with previously installed gates that WILL NOT be needed for new Install o All high voltage wiring will be buried to industry standards o Key pads on pedestal's will be installed, two (2) per gate, one on the inside and one on the outside. o All concrete cutting and ditches/ tunneling will be accomplished to industry standards. o All debris will be removed by the contractor and new concrete poured, where applicable. o Concrete poured will be at least 6" thick and 8,000 PSI o Contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions and designs. Contractor will field verify all measurements. Contractor will be responsible for providing matching hardware, where possible, for both gates and key pads. o New gates will be galvanized to match existing fencing and other gates with 236th standard. o All hardware will also be galvanized where possible to 236th standard. o Key pad controls will need to be designed to allow for independent control from each other. Electrical will need to be modified for use and code. o Contractor must ensure gate is secured. Facility cannot be left unsecured while unoccupied. Meaning, cannot leave perimeter fence breached overnight. o Gates will be cantilever in design and be hydraulically driven. o Place, terminate and test all related mechanical and electrical components for accurate and smooth operation. o Removal and disposal of all old fencing/gates and hardware for both gates. Old gates will remain the property of the 236th CBCS. o All key pad programming will be accomplished and taught by contractor. Informational literature will be provided to end user with program instructions. Contractor will provide preventative maintenance schedule *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
