All communications relating to the Project shall be directed to the following PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE prior to the opening of the Bids: Seth Boettcher, Town Administrator, 201 Center St W, Eatonville, WA 98328 sboettcher@eatonville-wa.gov.The work to be performed within 120 working days following the Notice to Proceed Date The project will construct roadway improvements along SR 161/ Washington Ave N, from Lynch Creek Drive E to 200' north of Center Striait E (SR 161 MP 2.91 to MP 3.38). The improvements to be performed include removal of existing pavement: temporary erosion and water pollution control; installation of new illumination system and rapid rectangular flashing beacon (R.RFB); storm drainage and water line improvements; construction of retaining walls, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; installation ofstreet trees in tree grates; urban design amenities; property restoration; installation of new channelization and permanent signing; and other Work in accordance with the Plans and Contract Provisions. A DBE goal of 21% and Federal Prevailing Wage Requirements are in effect. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the Agreement and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Town of Eatonville. The Town on Eatonville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process. The Agreement, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the Town of Eatonville.
