Site work for a water / sewer project in Tea, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Approximately 81,213 linear feet of 16-inch diameter buried PVC or ductile iron pipe. Additionally, approximately 4,360 linear feet of pipe will be installed using horizontal directional drilling techniques. Approximately 790 linear feet of jacked or bored highway and railroad crossing casing pipe (24" diameter) and approximately 120 linear feet of open-cut casing pipe (24" diameter). Relocation and replacement of existing small diameter rural water lines and drain tile. Miscellaneous appurtenances including direct bury gate valves, manual air release valves, and blow-off assemblies. Corrosion protection system components including ground beds, rectifiers, galvanic anodes, and test stations. Components depend on type of pipe. Temporary and permanent erosion control, fencing, reclamation and seeding. Traffic control during construction. Pipeline pigging, flushing, hydrostatic pressure testing, and disinfection. And, Clean up and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction contract documents. Probable Cost 1$14,000,000 to $18,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
