Renovation of a municipal facility in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Project consists of the replacement of four rooftop package HVAC units, miscellaneous roof caps, and curbs. Additional roof work includes the recovering of the entire building roof. Interior work will consist of removal of existing mixing boxes and duct heaters above ceilings and replacing with VAV boxes. A complete HVAC control system replacement is included. The following list is meant to serve as a general description of the project. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, selective demolition, HVAC work, electrical, fire rated ceiling work, and roof recovering, flashing, and repairs. Questions by the contractor are to be submitted no later than 5:00 PM May 10, 2022. Questions shall be submitted via e-mail to (meca@mecainc.com). . Answers to questions will be provided by e-mail in a "reply all" format. Individual answers will not be provided. Contractor selection will be based on both price and the contractor's proposed schedule. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to reject a Bid not accompanied by data required by the Bidding documents, or to reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any technicalities and informalities.
