The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from ready-mix concrete plants, which are VDOT approved, to provide on-call, as needed hydraulic cement concrete (ready-mix concrete) to various work locations/routes within Martinsville Residency the counties of Patrick and Carroll in the Salem District, including all towns and cities where routes are maintained by VDOT. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Shonda Fowler at shonda.fowler@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions by 5:00 PM, on May 2, 2022. The initial contract period will be one (1) year with the beginning August 1, 2022, with one (1) successive one (1) year optional renewal. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this solicitation.
