Demolition and site work for a residential development in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
If additional information is required concerning the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents all questions must be submitted in writing via email to the office of the Architect by May 5th, 2022. Each bid must include Bid Security, a certified check, bank check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state of PA, in the amount of 10% of the total contract amount, including all add alternates, payable to The Tamaqua Area Community Partnership. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder with a corporate surety approved by The Tamaqua Area Community Partnership. Bidding will be public, utilize Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor and Industry. One bid will be received for Demolition of 5 houses. The Tamaqua Area Community Partnership reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce items or quantities, and exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. Award of the contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The Tamaqua Area Community Partnership does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
