Renovation of a residential development in Newland, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Project activities include the reconstruction (replacement of deteriorated house with a manufactured home) of three (3) structures and the rehabilitation of three (3) structures. These six (6) units have been pre-selected and a preliminary inspection has been done on each home. The County is requesting proposals for a qualified individual or firm with the technical expertise and capacity to assist with a housing rehabilitation program by conducting home inspections, producing work write-ups, coordinating bid openings, and coordinating with homeowner and contractors to rehabilitate or reconstruct six (6) deteriorated homes.Avery County is an equal opportunity employer.
