Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wind Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Norway hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received at the office of the Town Clerk for the 2022 Paving Program for Meyer Park Roadway and Parking Lot Reconstruction and Burmeister Road Maintenance. Major quantities of work include: 3,085 S.Y. Mill Roadway 4" and Remove 21,365 S.Y. Pulverize and Grade Area 3,225 Ton 2.25" 3LT58-28S Binder Course 2,740 Ton 1.75" 5LT58-28S Surface Course (includes tack) 1 L.S. Striping and Bumper Placement NOTE 2: THE TOWN OF NORWAY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF, AS REQUIRED BY STATUTORY BUDGET REQUIREMENTS. Bids to be awarded May 9, 2022 at a Town Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools and labor necessary for the described work and other miscellaneous work as provided in the Contract Documents. BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond on the prescribed form payable to the owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Total Bid Price as guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Agreement. Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certifications, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. BID WITHDRAWAL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
