Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wind Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Major quantities of work include 7,450 S.Y. Pulverize and Grade, 770 Tons 2.25" 3LT58-285 Binder Course, Tons 1.75 5LT58-28S Surface Course (includes lack), and 375 Tons 2ft. Limestone Shoulder. The project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools and labor necessary for the described work and other miscellaneous work as provided in the Contract Documents. All bidders shall bid according to the forms obtained from the Town Clerk. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond on the prescribed form payable to the owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Total Bid Price as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Agreement, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certifications, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award. Contractors are required to pay not less than the prevailing rates on the project as established by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Commerce pursuant to Section 66.293 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
