Site work for a municipal facility in Lafayette, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Said Contract shall consist of services associated with the furnishing, installation (including removal of existing scale for SCMUA disposal), and calibration of ONE (1) CONCRETE DECK MOTOR TRUCK SCALE in accordance with the specifications. The Authority will be accepting and evaluating bids regarding purchase. At the above stated time and place, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be made on the Standard Bid Proposal Form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, the number and name of the contract, and the item bid on the outside of the envelope. No responsibility shall be attached to any person or persons for the premature opening of any bid not properly addressed and identified. All notices of revisions and addenda to advertisements or bid documents will be provided in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23. Note that physical copies of the documents will not otherwise be available for review. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Bid Documents in the manner designated therein. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and must be addressed to the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority, 34 South Route 94, Lafayette, NJ 07848 and clearly marked with the Contract name and number, Attn Joseph Sesto, P.E., Chief Engineer. Bidders are directed to submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of Public Laws 1977, Chapter 33. Bidders are solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bids and no bids shall be considered which are presented after the public call for receiving bids. The Authority will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery services. Any bid received after the date and time specified will be returned, unopened, to the bidder. The provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. are incorporated herein by reference. If the Contract is to be awarded, the SCMUA will award to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder within sixty (60) days of the Bid Opening or agree upon an extension of time acceptable to any bidders. The SCMUA Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities or informalities in the bids and to accept the bid or bids, which in their judgment, will best serve the interest of the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority.
