For Implementation of the Solar Panel Law for Niagara County Division of Environmental/Solid Waste Niagara County is soliciting proposals from interested, experienced and qualified vendors to assist the County with implementation of Local Law No. 4 of 2021, which requires manufacturers of photovoltaic modules to finance and develop a program for recycling of photovoltaic modules, minimization of hazardous waste, and recovery of commercially valuable materials Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Specifically, the County seeks a reputable vendor with knowledge of product stewardship that is capable of providing guidance to the County, engage in organizing and managing stakeholders, participate in and foster stakeholder dialogue, provide assistance in developing an outreach and education strategy, and generally assist in guiding the Countys program to meet expectations and goals. Vendors should be familiar with extended producer responsibility (EPR), industry stakeholders, and possess the ability to objectively review and critique sustainability plans.
