Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Relocate Sanitary Force Main - Mt. Vernon Outland Airport Project shall include the furnishing of all equipment, materials, and labor to construct and place into satisfactory operation, a sanitary sewer force main, connecting to an existing lift station at the upstream end and to an existing sanitary manhole at the downstream end, as de scribed in the contract documents. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Withdrawal Owner reserves the right io reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proeeed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time listed in the Instructions to Bidders. Work is subject to liquidated damages as listed in the Instructions to Bidders. BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Prequalification will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder NOTIFICATION A. This Advertisement for Bids document is issued by the Mt, Vernon Airport Authority.
