A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) is seeking professional design services for a project to renovate the resident bathrooms and common areas on the 3rd floor, South Building of the Anchorage Pioneer Home. Work will focus on renovation of nine (9) shared resident bathrooms and an Occupancy conversion. Design services may include but not be limited to: Removal of the bathtubs and installation of walk-in accessible tiled showers. New bathroom fixtures, accessories, casework, and finishes. New flooring throughout resident bathrooms and common spaces. Installation of a new patient bathing tub and renovation to the fixtures, finishes and accessories in the tub room. New resident dining area. New Nurse/ Staff station. Conversion of the 3rd floor from its current R2 Residential Occupancy to I2 Condition 1 Institutional Occupancy. Hazardous material assessment and remediation plan. Deliverables may include: 1. Design services with review milestones at 35%, 65%, 95%. 2. Bid ready Plans, Specifications, and Cost Estimate. 3. Bidding and Construction Administration will be negotiated on a T&E basis after NTP award. 4. The Period of performance for items 1 & 2 will be 120 days after NTP has been issued.
