The County of Darlington is soliciting bid for flooring replacement at the Robert L. Grooms Building located at 528 Cartersville Hwy in Lamar, South Carolina. The bid should be all inclusive for the removal of current tile and carpet, install new carpet and tile, all necessary materials, and moving all furniture. Construction Cost Range: $10,000-$100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The County of Darlington is seeking proposals from qualified firms to replace the flooring at the Robert L. Grooms Building located in Lamar, South Carolina. The building is approximately 11,715 square feet. The building houses an Emergency Services Base, Department of Social Services, Health Department, Lamar Head Start, and has a space that is rentable to the public. The Department of Social Services is the only office with carpet. The rest of the building is tile. The scope-of-work shall include the supervision, labor, materials, permits, design layout, equipment, machinery, all other fees, and items necessary to complete the replacement of the flooring at the Robert L. Grooms Building.
