Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Darien, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

All bidders must file a "Bidders Qualification Statement" with the Owner on or before seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening, unless already on file with the Village. Failure to submit a "Bidders Qualification Statement" by the date noted may be cause for disqualification and/or rejection of Bid. Construction of the 2022 Paving Program in the Village of Darien includes two work sections, Jackson & N. 3rd Street and the Alleyway west of N. Wisconsin Street. In general the work consists of pulverizing asphaltic pavement, excavation, grading, base aggregate dense, manhole adjustments, removing and replacing concrete sidewalk access ramps, asphaltic pavement, and traffic and erosion control. Major work items and approximate quantities include: 3,200 square yards of pulverize asphaltic pavement, 500 tons of base aggregate dense, 780 tons of asphaltic pavement, 3 manhole adjustments, 35 linear feet of 12-inch diameter culvert pipe and endwalls, 400 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 65 square yards of concrete driveway approaches, and sawcutting pavement together with appurtenant construction, including traffic and erosion control. \ This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. \ Project is to be substantially complete on, or before, October 14, 2022. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15, and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Sections 62.15 and 66.0901. \
