The project will install 3,610 linear feet of new 8-inch Restrained Class 52 DIP Water Main and 3,035 linear feet of new 12-inch Restrained Class 52 DIP Water Main along Pioneer Boulevard from 160th Street to 166th Street, and east side streets connecting Pioneer Boulevard to Clarkdale Avenue in the South Service Area of the City's Municipal Water System. The graphical location of the Project is attached. The City intends to award the contract for Professional Construction Management & Inspection services early-June 2022 and have a fully executed contract around the start of construction. Recommend the accrual and assessment of Liquidated Damages, as necessary. By submitting a proposal, Proposer represents that it has thoroughly examined and become familiar with the (i) Plans and Specifications; (ii) conditions of the affected project area; (iii) the work required in this RFP; and (iv) the Proposer is capable of performing quality work to achieve the objectives of the City's Public Services Division. Interested Proposers shall submit the request form attached to this RFP to obtain contract documents. By submitting a request form, interested Proposers will be added to the "List of Interested Proposers". The list will be used to contact the firms for project updates, addendums, and responses to inquiries. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals, request additional information or revisions to the proposals, and to negotiate with any or all Proposers The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
