Cutoff for Questions: Date: May 9, 2022 Time: 12:00 pm EST West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for the Renovation of Two Rooms at the WVU Tech campus located at 410 Neville Street, Beckley, West Virginia 25801 Additional SCOPE: Renovate two rooms in the ISB building at 400 Neville St. One room will be a "24" seat biology lab, the other room will be a lab support room. Casework and fixed student stations are to be included. Substantial Completion shall be October 29, 2021 Final Completion shall be November 12, 2021. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
