Questions Due Date: Mar 10th 2022, 4:00 PM EST PWSA is requesting bids for the reconstruction and relay of the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) public system including water mains, valves, hydrants, and the full and/or partial replacement of water service lines as required or directed. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment in accordance with the General Conditions, Contractor shall pay Owner $__1000____ for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. Owner may, if it so elects, deduct Liquid Damages from the Contractor's Final Payment. Scope of Work: A. Bidders should understand that contracts for necessary repair, maintenance, and minor extension to Owner's existing facilities cannot be accurately estimated or planned in advance, and may be of an emergency nature. The Owner shall determine the repair, maintenance, replacement, or minor extension Work to be carried out under the Contract, and shall direct same, and a Bidder agrees to accept such decisions as final and binding
