**As of February 22, 2022, project was awarded to M. Mayo Striping, awarded amount is $31,164.65.** Award is anticipated to be made during their meeting on May 17, 2022 commencing at 7:00 pm for the following: Application of Reflective Pavement Markings: 163,145 lf of 4" double yellow centerline and 120,170 lf of 4" white sidelines on various Township roads (quantities are approximate). The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in full or in part. The successful bidder shall provide, within fifteen days of Bid Award: (a) proof of workers compensation insurance and liability insurance in an amount acceptable to the Board of Supervisors; (b) a bond guaranteeing performance of the contract and warranty with sufficient surety in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract; and (c) a bond guaranteeing the prompt payment for all materials furnished and labor supplied or performed in the prosecution of the work hereunder with sufficient surety in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount, & shall provide that every person, co-partnership, association or corporation who, whether as subcontractor or otherwise, has furnished material or supplied or performed labor in the prosecution of the work & who has not been paid therefore, may sue in assumpsit on said additional bond in the name of the Township for his, their, or its use and prosecute same to final judgement for such sum or sums as may be justly due him, her, them or it and have execution thereon, provided, however, that the Township shall not be liable for any costs of suit. Upon failure to provide said bonds, the award shall be void.
