Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified equipment owners and operators to clean the channel and remove sediment from approximately 3 miles of San Luis Creek and 1 mile of irrigation ditches in Saguache County. The contractor will be responsible for supplying the equipment needed for the channel cleaning and sediment removal and will also be responsible for complying with existing regulations. In your response please include your qualifications to conduct this type of work, a cost estimate for completing the work and a timeline for completing the project. Notice of Request for Proposal to Lease Two Well and Sprinkler Irrigated Alfalfa Quarters Subdistrict No. 4 of the Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking proposals to lease two established alfalfa quarters north of Moffat. Each field is subject to a 180 acre-foot pumping limitation. Lessee will be responsible for subdistrict fees and utilities. Payment of 1/3 upfront with the balance due before 2nd cutting is removed.
