The Hoffman Heights Library Roof Replacement project generally consists of the following at the subject property: This project is for a roof replacement of the existing modified bitumen roof with new EPDM roofing membrane. Refer to the Roof Plans and Detail Drawings, as well as Divisions 06 and 07 within the Specifications for roof assembly installation. Removal of the existing modified bitumen roof membrane, wood fiberboard, and insulation. Installation of new vapor retarder or base sheet, insulation, cover board, and roofing membrane. Removal and replacement of wall flashings. Removal and replacement of curb flashings. Removal and replacement of electrical penetration flashings. Removal and disposal of unused items as noted by the Owner and where shown on the drawings. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check made payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bonds do not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time.
