Renovation of a parking garage in E Harwich, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The work to be performed under this contract includes, removal of existing roofing material, and installation of new roof panels per specifications. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amounts of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. To receive consideration, bids shall be submitted on the appropriate forms no later than the above date and time scheduled. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price in the form of a bid bond or certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or Trust Company. If upon acceptance of the bid, a bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Town of Harwich, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of the Town. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after opening of the bids. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
