Renovation of a municipal facility in Bennington, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project consists of, but is not limited to: Remove existing roof, insulation and flashing in its entirety and replace with new roof system, insulation, wall cap coping, and flashings per plans and specifications prepared by NBF Architects dated January 2022. There are some changes to the roof, including the complete removal of several curbs and pitch pocket that need to be infilled with decking and insulation, and some areas that will require adding tapered insulation to provide positive drainage. There are also a couple items that need to be removed prior to re-roofing and reinstalled afterward. The period of Contractors performance shall begin on August 1, 2022, with a Substantial Completion on June 1, 2023, Project Completion on July 1, 2023, with a Contract Completion on July 1, 2024, to allow for a one (1) year Warranty Period. Bid Security in the amount of 5% is enclosed herewith.
