Request for qualifications - architects softball club sport complex arkansas state university, in accordance with the policies of the board of trustees, is soliciting responses from qualified architectural firms to provide design services for the softball club sport complex. Project description the softball club sport complex will be located in the arkansas state university south athletic district which is situated south of the main campus, and is located east of marion berry parkway, north of the missouri pacific railroad tracks, and south of the burlington northern santa fe railroad tracks. The project represents the first phase of the recently completed master plan for the south athletic zone. Currently there are a number of existing facilities and venues at this location, including an existing softball facility. This project will involve the reconfiguration and expansion of the existing softball facility as well as additional district vehicular circulation and parking. The design team will work within the master plan created for the district. The program will include a reoriented softball playing field and lighting, locker rooms, concessions, parking and other associated functional elements. Additionally, expanded parking and vehicular circulation for future phases of the district will be included. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
