The successful Bidder shall be required to pay its Workers on this Project a sum not less than the general prevailing rate (applicable at time of bid) of per diem wages and not less than the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime Work for Work of a similar character in the locality in which the Project is performed, as provided under California Labor Code Section 1770 et m. The NESD has determined the prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime Work in the locality in which this Project is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of Work needed to execute the contract to be awarded. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the County Office of Education and shall be made available to any interested party upon request. All prospective bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations to bid and perform public works contracts.
