The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to acquire a single contractor to provide in cabinet traffic signal technician services on an as needed basis for the repair of traffic signal equipment for City-owned and/or operated facilities in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. In addition to in cabinet services, the Contractor may be needed to provide assistance related to the video detection system, emergency vehicle preemption systems, and Traffic Signal System Management. Requirements will be of a time is of the essence nature, but some requested support may be of a semi-continuous ongoing nature. The contract shall cover the period beginning June 1, 2022 and go through May 31, 2023. The City reserves the option to renew this agreement for two (2) additional one-year periods ending May 31, 2025. Unless notified in writing thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date, the contract will automatically renew during these periods.
