Prime Contractors purchasing bid documents must register to ensure that they will receive information issued during the bid period Bid Security: A certified check or bank draft, US Government Bond, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and drafted in favor of Lackawanna County shall be submitted with each bid. Performance Bonds: The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Performance and Labor and Materials Bonds which are acceptable to Lackawanna County.
