Renovation of a water / sewer project in Maryville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids should be labeled "Water Treatment Plant Improvements " on the outside of the envelope. The proposed work consists of: Installation of two (2) salt brine solos, brine pumps, brine waste pumps, sanitary pump station, concrete access ramp, and other associated improvements. Bids that are furnished by mail shall be addressed to the Village Clerk, Village of Maryville, Village Hall, 2520 N. Center Street, Maryville, Illinois 62062. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost upon Engineer's receipt of a completed request/release form provided by Engineer. Plans, specifications and contract documents are also available for examination at Southern Illinois Builders, O'Fallon, Illinois. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days of the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the Village of Maryville. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present performance and payment bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. Illinois law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor. The Village of Maryville reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid.
