Site work for a water / sewer project in Maryville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of: The placement of storm sewers, manholes, inlets and all other necessary collateral work to complete the project shown on the plans and as specified. Plans, specifications and contract documents are also available for examination at Southern Illinois Builders in O'Fallon, Illinois. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days of the scheduled time of closing bids. All proposals must be made on forms furnished by the Village of Maryville. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present performance and payment bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. The successful bidder will be required to agree that not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Secretary of Labor and made a part of these contract documents shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing their work under this contract. The Village of Maryville reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid.
