This Contract consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment to perform replacement of existing crosswalks at various locations in Anne Arundel County, District 5. The work may consist of the following: (a) Removal of existing crosswalk pavement marking lines and installation of new continental style crosswalk pavement marking lines. (b) Replacement of existing crosswalk-related warning signs with new warning sign assemblies and/or installation of new warning sign assemblies where they are missing under existing conditions. Project Cost Class C - $500,000 to $1,000,000 MBE Participation (%) 6.0 In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
