Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Yakima, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
*As of October 5, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. Remodel which will include but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, and Information Technology. This project is a renovation of an existing, 2-story office building. The original building was built in 1999 as a B-Occupancy and the Construction Type was V-N. Corridors and area open to them, to have 1-HR walls and ceilings. There is limited work being done on the Main Level which includes building out a new custodial closet and upgrading the existing drinking fountain. Information Technology Systems and HVAC Systems are being upgraded throughout the Main Level. There is a large area of the Lower Level that was damaged by water. The affected gypsum board and finishes have been removed. As part of this project, those areas will be restored with some small remodel work. Additionally, the building water service is being upgraded and Lower Level plumbing fixtures are being replaced. As with the Main Level IT and HVAC Systems are being upgraded. Much of the work is approached as design building. General intent in shown and/or described in the bid documents. Contractor is to complete systems meeting all applicable codes and requirements
