The Town of Millbury, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for Elevator and Glass & Glazing Sub Contractors for construction of new Millbury Fire Station, Millbury, MA in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Context Architecture: 65 Franklin Street, Boston, MA 02110. Glass & Glazing Filed sub-bidders must be Pre-Qualified and DCAMM certified. Elevator Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate MBE: 10 percent of the contract price; WBE: 4 percent of the Contract price. The Town of Millbury, Massachusetts is proposing to construct a new approximately 22,000 SF Fire Station. The existing building on the site will be demolished. Refer to Drawings and Specifications for scope of work. 1.The project is a new fire station of approximately 21,700 sf on 2 floors. 2. All new utilities will be provided to the building. A diesel fired generator will be set on site. 3. The site will be occupied by the existing fire operations. Due to fire operations and neighborhood considerations the contractor will be required to submit logistics plans indicating temporary facilities, laydown, staging, and proposed trucking routes for deliveries and debris removal.
