The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide trucks and various equipment with operators experienced in snow removal operations to establish contracts for the removal of snow, ice and other frozen precipitation from the interstate routes listed herein, within the Salem District. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Ms. Shonda Fowler at shonda.fowler@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office will determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions 5:00PM, May 18, 2022. Period of contract: Shall be for a two (2) year period with the effective date to be determined at time of award through May 1, 2024 with three (3) successive one (1) year optional renewals.
