Demolish and remove existing 4-ply aggregate surfaced asphalt built-up roof system down to the structural deck. 2. Install 5/8" substrate board fastened in place over steel decks. 3. Install 2-ply vapor retarder. 4. Install 1/2" cover board over tapered isocyanurate insulation. 5. Install 4-ply aggregate surfaced asphalt built-up roof system. 6. Modify/raise roof drains at existing locations. 7. Modify mechanical and electrical equipment as specified. 8. Install new sheet metal flashing and trim. 9. At canopy steel supports and structural steel construction, contractor to remove rust down to solid steel, prime and paint to match existing.
