The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia ("the Owner") seeks proposals from interested qualified Engineering firms to provide engineering services for analyzing and designing improvements for the drainage system downstream from Glynn Haven Park to the detention ponds at the entrance to the water treatment plant located on Sea Island Road. The new design must include piping the ditch leading from Sylvan to the sports field at St. Simons Christian School. The firm is to provide any/all environmental delineations as may be required including any/all permit acquisitions, preliminary construction plans, refined cost estimates, generating plats for right-of-way acquisitions as may be required, and provide a "turn key" construction bid package including plans, specifications, all applicable permitting, and a final engineer's estimate. The specific services requested are outlined in detail in the scope of services within this request for proposal. Please refer to the exhibit shown in the Program Services and Deliverables sections.
All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than May 20, 2022 Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this Invitation for Proposal will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. It shall be the Proposers responsibility to seek clarification as early as possible prior to the opening of proposals. The Proposer's response shall include a technical proposal (and original and three copies) and a separate fee proposal. Proposals should include all requested information as stated in this RFP. Please include a flash drive with all technical proposal and fee proposal information. Glynn County Board of Commissioners anticipates making a single contract award; however, it reserves the right to make multiple awards should it deem in the best interest of the County. Such an award, if any, is projected to be accomplished within sixty (60) days from the proposal opening. The Board of Commissioners, Glynn County, Brunswick Georgia reserves the right to reject any or all proposal, waive technicalities and make the award in the best interest of the County. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
