The California Conservation Corps (CCC) Solano Center, who leases our current facility from the Suisun-Fairfield Sewer District, needs a general building contractor to remodel an existing room into a laundry facility which will house one (1) washer and one (1) dryer unit. The project will consist of demolition, electrical, plumbing and drywall installation. CCC Solano Center - 1020 Chadbourne Road Fairfield, CA 94534 The term of this Agreement is upon approvals through 12/31/2022. Maintain a valid current B- General Building License issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. Said license shall remain active and in good standing with the State of California throughout the duration of this contract. Anticipated Award Date 6/3/2022 Deadline to ask Questions 5/23/2022 at 4:00PM The estimated budget of this Agreement is $12,000.00. 1. demolition of existing shelving, water heater, sink and countertops. 2. install approximately 50 lf of 3/4 in. emt conduit from the existing electrical panel to the outlet location. the exact location of the outlet will be provided at the time of the bid walk. 3. install one (1) 30 amp commercial grade single-pole circuit breaker. a representative from the fssd facilities department will assist in determining specific requirements and information regarding the existing electrical panel. 4. install one (1) 30 amp commercial grade dryer outlet. 5. install junction boxes, and cover plates as needed to complete the project to current cbc standards. 6. install a new 10-gallon 208-volt 3kw 1-phase electric tank water heater with wall mount kit. see attachment a for specifications. 7. install a 1/2 in. brass x 3/4 in. male hose thread washing machine outlet box. see attachment b for specifications. 8. install 1/2 in. copper water supply lines (hot and cold) from the water heater to the washing machine outlet box. 9. tie washing machine outlet box drain into existing plumbing and vent stack. 10. install floor drain grill cover on existing plumbing. 11. install/finish sheetrock as needed. 12. remove/reinstall metal door frame to allow for the installation of the washer and dryer units.
