As of June 7, 2022 This project is awarded to &K Group, Inc. with awarded amount of $327,371.91. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Removal/ replacement of existing storm inlet and storm water cross pipe, installation of end section, asphalt leveling course, stone shoulder back up, 9.5MM Overlay and double bituminous seal coat. A. Roosevelt Drive (T-874) - From intersection with Morea Road approx. 1,840' west. B. Park Place Road (T-884) - From bridge to approx. 2,580' east. C. Golden Bear Drive (T-873) - From intersection with Centre Street to School approx. 358' The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed prior to August 26, 2022. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. Bidders need to be PennDOT Pre-qualified for Work Class F and F4. Mahanoy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.
