The City is seeking qualified vendor(s) for a three year term for three main Forestry operations: - Removal of dead and declining ash trees on municipally-owned property. This may include, but is not limited to: City-owned boulevards, City-owned parkland, City-owned woodlots and natural areas; - Removal of ash tree stumps, including the back-filling, addition of top soil and grass seed and site clearing of each location where responsible; - Removal of hazardous trees and woody debris from (a) designated watercourses and (b) other properties where maintenance agreements (with City) are in effect. Bidders must be able to demonstrate that they: - Are readily available to undertake Contract requirements; - Have GPS units set up on each vehicle, capable of generating reports to be sent to Contract Manager as part of invoicing process; - Have staff (including administrative staff) and capacity to service and administer the Contract including for invoicing and confirmation of tally sheets; - Have a minimum of five (5) years' experience within the last eight (8) years with contracts of similar size and scope to that described in the RFT; - Have staff with qualifications that comply with Section 6 of the Special Terms and Conditions; and - Must own or have exclusive use (lease or long term rental) or have ability to rent equipment as detailed in Statement of Work.
