Site work and paving for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Work of the contract includes 86 point repairs on gravity sanitary sewers and force mains ranging in size from 6 to 48-inches in diameter; 2,820 feet of additional sewer replacement beyond these point repairs; sliplining and pipe bursting approximately 16,200 feet of sanitary sewer ranging from 6 to18-inches in diameter; slurry boring of approximately 1,350 feet of sanitary sewer ranging in size from 8 to 12-inches in diameter; reconnecting approximately 220 services; cleaning and televising of 26,495 feet of gravity sanitary sewers and force mains ranging in size from 6 to 48-inches in diameter; construction of approximately 22 new manholes; 350 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation; 4,500 square yards of removal and replacement of up to 2" hot-mix asphaltic concrete and 1,200 square yards of removal and replacement of 8" concrete pavement; and ancillary work to remove and restore surface features disturbed as a result of the work. The current fair share goals for the State of Texas are as follows: CATEGORY MBE WBE Construction 19.44% 9.17% Equipment 16.28% 11.45% Services 20.41% 13.66% Supplies 25.34% 8.82% A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid Price Agreement, required by the City, on the forms prepared by the City, for the Work and also executes and returns the same number of the Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds (such bonds to be executed by a Corporate Surety authorized by the State Board of Insurance to conduct insurance business in the State of Texas, and having an underwriting limitation in at least the amount of the bond) and other submittals as required by Document 00495 - Post-Bid Procedures, in connection with the Work, within the Contract Time, then this obligation shall become null and void; otherwise it is to remain in full force and effect.
