The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition, site work, renovation and addition of a 33,000 square foot educational facility. As of May 11, 2022, a construction manager has been assigned to this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Hershey Public Schools Addition and Renovation Hershey, NE Ladies/Gentlemen: BD Construction Inc. of Kearney has been pre-selected as the Construction Manager for the Hershey Public Schools Addition and Renovation project. The project located at the Hershey Public School is as follows: Project consists of a 33,000 sf new addition and interior renovation in the existing school. work to include: concrete foundations, concrete floors, precast concrete panels, masonry, structural and misc steel, rough and finish carpentry, casework, insulation, roofing, flashings, sealants, aluminum storefront doors / windows, interior doors, tile, resilient and carpet flooring, drywall, ACT, paint and other interior finishes, misc specialties, site concrete, fire sprinkler, mechanical and electrical systems. This early bid package bidding will be for suppling precast concrete wall panels ONLY. All other work will be bid through upcoming bid packages. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of Thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals. All bids are to be in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all other related Bid Documents The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and to reject a bid not accompanied by any requiring bid security or by other data required by the bidding documents; or to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular and to waive any informalities in any proposal.
