Oxford Township in Isanti County is seeking bids for the following: Bid #1, Graveling 275th Avenue Northeast starting at County Road 18 and proceeding west for approximately 2500 feet, the Gravel will be spread 22 feet wide and compacted to a depth of 4". The finished road will have a crown of 5". The Gravel will be 3/4" minus, lime rock. This road will be reshaped, and the ditches shaped to allow water drainage into the ditch. Reconstructed ditches will be seeded with grass seed when finished. Driveway approaches will be tapered with 3/4 minus lime to allow a smooth transition to the township road. Bid #2 Graveling Virgo Street Northeast starting at County Road 9 and heading north for approximately 5280 feet the Gravel will be spread 22 feet wide and compacted to a depth of 4". The finished road will have a crown of 5". The Gravel will be 3/4" minus, lime rock. This road will be reshaped, and the ditches shaped to allow water drainage into the ditch. Reconstructed ditches will be seeded with grass seed when finished. Driveway approaches will be tapered with 3/4 minus lime to allow a smooth transition to the township road. Bid #3 Graveling Potomac Street Northeast from county road 9 south to 261st Avenue Northeast, approximately 5200 feet the Gravel will be spread 22 feet wide and compacted to a depth of 4". The finished road will have a crown of 5". The Gravel will be 3/4" minus, lime rock. This road will be reshaped, and the ditches shaped to allow water drainage into the ditch. Reconstructed ditches will be seeded with grass seed when finished. Driveway approaches will be tapered with 3/4 minus lime to allow a smooth transition to the township road. Bid #4 Oxford Township is seeking a two-year road maintenance contract starting July 1, 2022, ending July 1 2024 for grading and snowplowing. Approximately 26 miles of roads consisting of both gravel and blacktop. 12 miles of road are graded weekly, and the balance of gravel roads monthly or as needed. Snowplowing will be 1"of snow or more on all Blacktop roads, 4" snow or more on all Gravel roads or as necessary. The town hall will also be plowed when plowing the blacktop roads. The contractor will have a two million dollar liability insurance policy with the Oxford Township named as additional insured. If contractor has employees, the contractor will show proof of insurance for workers compensation. Roads may need to be salted and sanded as needed. Please include price for salt and sand per yard. Contractors equipment will be equipped with a tracking device to confirm date and time work is being provided. Depending on weather conditions additional work my be required as needed.
