Site work for a mixed-use development in Gore Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Corporation of the Town of Gore Bay (the "Town") is seeking tenders for the services of installing Helical Screw Piles for the Smith Park boardwalk walkways and two Bridge abutments. This will include the removal and installation of: - The removal of the old posts, ensuring the use of suitable underpads (either blasting tire mats or specially design swamp mats to help protect the environment of the wetlands. - The installation of Helical screw piles to replace the existing wooden posts in wetland areas off Smith's Park. - The installation of helical piles abutments as prescribed by engineer drawings to support 24 feet long by 6 feet wide walkway pedestrian bridge. - The installation of helical piles abutments as prescribed by engineer drawings to support 60 feet long by 6 feet wide walkway pedestrian bridge.
