The scope of the work is to provide all contracting services required to build and commission the new 72 kV Substation at East Side Pump Station: (a) Complete all earthworks, drainage, containment, and foundations, including construction of site access road. (b) Receive, inspect, accept, offload, protect, install and commission long-lead equipment purchased by WSA. (c) Supply all remaining materials and equipment necessary to build the substation. (d) Supply and install all structure and fabricated items for the new substation. (e) Supply, install, and complete any modifications to DC or 4160V gear within the pumphouse building. (f) Supply and install all auxiliary materials and equipment such as lighting, fencing, signage, grounding, lightning protection, small buildings, etc. (g) Coordinate, as required, with SaskPower for transmission line interconnection. (h) Participate in substation dry and wet commissioning with WSA, the Prime Consultant, Equipment Vendors, and SaskPower. (i) Once fully commissioned, demolish the existing substation including limited drilling and subsurface foundation removal.
