Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Parkside, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 41,806-square-foot, one-story above grade, 220-seat educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and day care center.
PREQUALIFIED General Contractors only. Construction of a new school. The building may include 12 classrooms, a Cree Language room, a combined Science/Multipurpose Room, a Resource Room, and a full-sized gymnasium with a mezzanine level indoor running track. A daycare and Headstart are being designed as optional additions. Construction of a new K4-12 school, with daycare and Headstart, including access drive, parking lot, playing fields, playground and landscape, for the community of Sweetgrass First Nation. The project is funded by Sweetgrass First Nation, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), and Infrastructure Canada, through a Green and Inclusive Community Buildings grant. TIMELINE: Ground breaking has recently taken place. Construction will take approx. 24 months to complete.
