The project scope includes a comprehensive Dam Safety Review (DSR) for Rafferty Dam, R3-2 Closure Dam and R4-1 Closure Dam as per the Canadian Dam Association 2007 (Revised 2013) Dam Safety Guidelines and Dam Safety Reviews, 2016 Technical Bulletin. The DSR shall consist of an evaluation of all aspects of design, construction, maintenance, operation, surveillance, processes, and systems affecting the safety of the dam, including the dam safety management system. The DSR will include all components of the dam and should be based on current knowledge and standards, which may differ from acceptable standards at the time of construction or a prior DSR.
