Site work and paving for a road / highway in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project work includes overlay paving of approximately 2 miles of various roads and associated miscellaneous work. Roads include; Albany Street, Beverly Road, Buena Vista Avenue, Clearview Avenue, Davis Street, Elmira Avenue, and Whitewood Road. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the City Purchasing Agent no later than Monday May 16, 2022 at 12 noon. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractor and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid. A performance, labor, and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest.
