Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project work is comprised of furnishing all equipment, labor, material, plant, and superintendence to perform all work necessary for the removal of existing roadway and sidewalks, new concrete curbing, new paving of roadway, new bituminous concrete sidewalk, driveway aprons, replace existing concrete encased corrugated metal pipe with new pipe, reset catch basin and manhole tops, traffic markings & signs and associated miscellaneous work. Work for the entire project must be substantially completed by November 1, 2022. d. Work for the entire project must be substantially completed within 117 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Failure or refusal to execute and deliver the required documents within the fourteen (14) calendar days can result in the Bidder forfeiting to the City, as Liquidated Damages, his Bid Bond/Bid Security Deposit.
