Renovation of a fire / police facility in Malverne, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of August 3, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Malverne Police Headquarters Plumbing Construction Contract Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond from a surety company acceptable to the Village, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Malverne. Contractors will be required to complete the form of "Evidence of Successful Completion of Similar Projects" included in the proposal Contractors will be required to comply with the provisions of the State of New York Labor Laws. Public Liability and property damage insurance, performance and payment bond will be required. Successful bidders will be required to enter into a contract for the performance of the work that may be awarded to them for the total amount of the awarded contract price. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part, to waive any informality in any or all bids, and to accept such bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Village No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected or no bids received, the Village Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to re-advertise for bids upon direction or the Village Board.
