Deadline for Written Questions 05/12/2022 This Invitation for Bids is to establish a Price Contract (s) for concrete services for new and replacement masonry projects, including all associated work operations, requested by the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky up to a max value of $200,000.00. Offeror to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install, replace, and/or construct concrete, masonry and associated projects including but not limited to concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, steps and slabs as identified and authorized by the University and described in document specifications. The Price Contract(s) established from this Invitation for Bids will be in effect for one year from date of award with the option to renew for four (4) additional years in one year increments upon mutual consent of the University and the successful contractor. A $100,000.00 Performance and a $100,000 Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder and kept on file for 1. The faithful performance of this contract 2. The payment of all persons performing labor on this contract, including the payment of all unemployment contributions which become due and payable under Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Law, and 3. Materials furnished, used, and/or supplied in connection with this contract. 4. In addition, for those projects governed under this agreement estimated greater than $100,000 an additional gap bond equal to the additional amount would be required to meet Kentucky Statute requirements.
